Description

LDRama by Nonlinearcircuits converts images on your phone screen into an array of voltages for controlling your Eurorack synthesizer. if you're scratching your head right now, you're overcomplicating it - just get a video rolling on your phone, then place the phone screen down on top of that big array of LDRs (light sensing resistors) occupying the upper half of the module to generate 20 (!) control voltages. the A1-6 and B1-6 outputs produce voltages based on the average brightness over subsets of 4 LDRs. for example, A1 corresponds to the 2x2 square of LDRs at the upper right of the module, while B3 is based on the 2x2 square of LDRs in the bottom two rows just right of the center of the module. the eight lower outputs are based on the average brightness in the zones indicated in their corresponding diagrams, with the bottom right output averaging the overall brightness of the full grid and the lower left output based solely on the leftmost four columns of LDRs. a level knob and CV input enable manual and voltage-controlled attenuation of all outputs simultaneously.this LDRama is in mint condition with minimal use. it was built by hand here at Teleos Modular. all LDRs, knobs and jacks have been fully tested and work as expected. includes ribbon cable and insured shipping. sold as-described with any returns at buyer's expense and subject to our standard restocking fee.28hp wide // ~35mm deep // 116mA +12V, 68mA -12V // DIY by Teleos Modular
